The Teachers

The minute you walk into The Learning Place you will immediately notice some things that make us truly unique. The atmosphere of excited learning can be experienced by all who enter our festive classrooms. The children are learning while truly having fun with enthusiastic teachers; there are bright smiles and open, friendly faces everywhere. While there are many elements that make this magical place, it is the teachers of The Learning Place who are the secret ingredients to this one-of-a-kind preschool. Each teacher takes yearly coursework above the hours established by the state of Maine pertaining to latest research and techniques in early childhood education. Additionally, all teachers maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications. We are warm, compassionate people who deeply care for all the children and their families. We strive to engage all the children in activities that foster your child’s self-esteem through creative and imaginative play and academic challenges. Not only will your child be respected and nurtured by us; we also maintain collaborative relationships with each other, parents and the community. In a few words; we at The Learning Place have a passion for teaching and learning!
